In this video, Itay Rotem, a very good friend of mine, talks about the basic itinerary of a 7- to 10-day tour in Israel.
This itinerary is very full, and can probably only be done with a guide, but it does give you a basic understanding of your options.

Day 1 – Arrival in Tel Aviv
Day 2 – Jaffa and Tel Aviv
Day 3 – Northern coast – Caesarea, Haifa, Akko (Acre) and Rosh Hanikra
Day 4 – Golan Heights
Day 5 – Galilee
Day 6 – Jerusalem Old City & Mount of Olives
Day 7 – Jerusalem New City – Yad Vashem, Israel Museum, Machne Yehuda market
Day 8 – Judaean Desert – Masada, the Dead Sea and Ein Gedi
Days 9-10 – Mitzpe Ramon
